7 Steps to a Simpler Work Life
- Clear a block of time each day to return phone calls.
- Sort
and answer mail and e-mail once daily at the same time of day
if possible (early morning or at the end of day works for many
people).
- Focus on one thing/project at a time.
- Do take lunch,
and use it to eat and relax.
- Take 10 minutes in your day to
de-stress, breathe, take a walk, and let your thoughts flow
freely.
- At the end of every working day, take 5 minutes to
clean your desk or straighten your work surface, and consolidate
your projects for the next day.
- Practice the art of saying ‘no,’ and
simplify your life.
